Our spacious and luxurious property sits in an enviable position within the stunning 24-acre grounds of Trenython Manor, near Fowey, giving uninterrupted sea views across St Austell Bay as well as panoramic views of the glorious Cornish countryside and is within easy access for all the Cornish Riviera has to offer.


The Property is just 3 miles from the popular and scenic harbour town of Fowey and just 12 miles from the main arterial A30 road providing access to both north and south Cornwall. Many of Cornwall's famous sites and attractions are literally minutes away and you can reach most of Cornwall from here in a hour or less, making this the ideal base to explore this wonderful county.


For those wanting to bring the four-legged faithful friends Par sands is on the doorstep which is a wonderful, dog friendly beach all year.


The perfect location to enjoy your Cornish vacation whether you are looking for a relaxing beach holiday with children or a romantic getaway or to visit the many cultural and historic sites in this beautiful county has in abundance.

LOCAL TRANSPORT

Train: The nearest train station is Par which is located 2 miles from the resort; it is a 5 minute car journey from there to Wyndham Trenython Manor.
Air travel: Newquay airport is the nearest and is a 40 minute journey by taxi or car hire.
Car hire: Car hire is available from Newquay airport or local towns St Austell and Bodmin, this would need arranging prior to arrival to ensure availability.
Bus: The nearest bus stop, Castle Dore, is at the end of the driveway, Western Greyhound’s 524 & 525 service runs from Fowey to St Austell bus station.

Distance to nearest towns:
Fowey: 2 miles from the resort, we advise guests not to walk this due to the narrow country roads.
St Austell: 5 miles from the resort.
Bus: 6 minutes to Fowey, 45 minutes to St Austell. Western Greyhound operates services between Fowey and St Austell, service numbers 524 and 525. From St Austell Bus Station connecting buses operate to other locations in Cornwall. This service runs every hour and the last bus leaves Fowey 2310 hrs.
Taxi: The taxi company that is advised for wheelchair user customers is Yeos taxis which can be contacted on 01726 814095.

HOW TO GET HERE BY CAR

From the A30 - turn off at the Bodmin junction and follow the Launceston Road towards Bodmin town, look for the West End Motors (Nissan & Vauxhall.) garage on the left with a turn signposted Lostwithiel & Lanhydrock, turn left here on to the A38 (Cooksland Road), at the next T junction turn left remaining on the A38 to towards Lostwithiel & Landhydrock , keep left (1st turn) at the next large roundabout, after about 100 metres take a right turn (3rd turn) at the next roundabout (Turfdown Road) still following signs for Lostwithiel & Lanhydrock. Pass Lanhyrock (National Trust) on your left and remain on Turfdown Road for a few hundred metres more until you come to a small roundabout, turn left here on to the B3268 following signs for St Balzey. Continue on the B3268 for a few miles through Sweethouse and continue until you come to a T junction with the A390 (by Pelyn Vets). Turn right here onto the A390 following signs for Fowey, after around a hundred metres take the left turn on to the B3269 signposted to Fowey and continue on this road past, Hidden Valley Garden & Nursery,  for a couple of miles until you reach Castledore, here there is a right turn signposted to Trenython Manor, take this road and you will find the entrance to the Trenython Manor estate on your left.


Once you have entered through the estate gateway you will see the Trenython Manor Hotel ahead of you. as you approach the hotel take the 1st left turn up the short hill and bear right at the top of the hill, then keep to the left, you will see signs for the lodges, follow for 507, follow the road to the left and you will come to a number of parking bays ahead of you where the road bears right, park here.


Once parked you will see a path to the left of the parking bays, take this path, the glorious views on St Austell bay will open up in front of you. Seaview Lodge, 507, is the 2nd Lodge as you travel down the path.
